Goji Berry Benefits And Recipe
I First discovered Goji berry from a chinese friend who puts it in her water bottle and said that it improves her eye sight and vision and also boosts her immune system. I did some research about it and was amazed on what this little fruit and it’s leaves are hiding for our health.
The recipe I am sharing bellow is a syrup that I made and unlike pharmaceutical antibiotics this can be taken everyday. I am so obsessed about it and my kids love it too.
For centuries the Chinese have used parts of the entire goji berries also known as the wolfberry, plant for food or medicine. They are extremely nutritionally dense and high in antioxidants. How long will this last in the fridge roughly?
Hi Erika,
You can keep it up to 6 months. I usually end up finishing it earlier because I just like to take in the morning everyday. Thank you for reading and please let me know if you have anymore questions.
Hi Massiva,
This might sound crazy but would it work to add agar agar to this and make gummies out of it for small children who don’t like to drink the syrup? We love the syrup by the way and take it everyday! Thanks for the amazing recipe.
Hi Ashley, You may want to try great lake gelatin the orange box. Maybe add 4 tablespoons. If it does not gel you can try to add more. Good luck!
Can you take this every day along with elderberry syrup? I take elderberry syrup daily but would like to add this! Also how much do you recommend?
So, are you using the berry mash or the juice that you’ve boiled down? Or both? It’s a little confusing.
Hello,
I’m just now in Young Living and learned a few things.
I’m wondering why you add 1 lemon cut in half instead just the lemon oil? Remember its actually allot of lemons when you use the oils.
U have I.C. and can’t use the real lemon but can use the oil. I don’t get it, but “ok,” I say.
Yes you can use the oil. That’s just my way of making the recipe.
Can you mix elderberry and goji berries when making syrup?
Yes you can! Good luck in making it.
