If you use non adulterated essential oils such as Young Living, Yes they can be used without stripping the color. I color my hair myself and use all kinds of homemade conditioners and masks made with these oils.

Hi Cocoa, I don’t recommend using progessence for men. My Brother used only cedarwood and rosemary mixed with castor oil and it worked for him. Let me know how that goes if you ever try it. Thank you for reading!
